Legislative History: Law 5-58, the “D.C. Boat Titling Act of 1983,” was introduced in Council and assigned Bill No. 5-80, which was referred to the Committee on Transportation and Environmental Affairs. The Bill was adopted on first and second readings on October 18, 1983, and November 1, 1983 respectively. Signed by the Mayor on December 2, 1983 it was assigned Act No. 5-86 and transmitted to both House of Congress for its review.
